Child Photography Guidelines
CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES:
Although there are no laws regarding the photography of children or persons under 18, some organisations such as the FA provide their own Guidelines, please see the link below:

RICHARD EDMONDSON Photography adheres to all guidelines from every governing bodies while we have also included more which will further protect the safeguarding.
RICHARD EDMONDSON Photography will not photograph a junior event without first having permission from the organisers/clubs or teams. I contact the respective manager/club atleast three days prior to the game.
Publishing photographs.
All photographs go on www.richardedmondsonphotography.com, however none of the photographs go online without the permission of the club/parent or organiser.
We have also started to password protect the galleries for extra protection, and no photograph will have the child/persons name.
RICHARD EDMONDSON Photography will not publish photographs of children in Distress, Injury or visibly Upset.
RICHARD EDMONDSON Photography will not knowingly publish photographs to social media such as Facebook or twitter unless requested by family member or club official with the appropriate permission. Pictures published on www.richardedmondsonphotography.com will be heavily watermarked
RICHARD EDMONDSON Photography will immediately remove any photograph from the galleries on receipt of notification by a parent or similar
I also follow any rules set by organisers of any events as well as the guidelines set by The Football Association, ECB, English Rugby, Hockey, and NSPCC.
CRB/DBS:
I currently hold two DBS certificates, with one from Kendal Rugby Club and the other from The Westmorland FA.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY:
Prior to every game I always introduce myself to the manager of both teams while I also carry Identification, for anyone who requests ID.
If a parent does no want their child photographing or published online I will adhere to their wishes.
No child will have their name by their photograph, I can also password protect a photo gallery if required!
